The AI Summit Brainport is a leading annual event in the field of artificial intelligence, organized by the Eindhoven AI Systems Institute (EAISI) together with Brainport Development and the Province of North Brabant. The summit has its roots in 2020, when EAISI organized the very first edition, evolving from the Data Science Summit initially hosted by the Data Science Center of TU/e (now integrated within EAISI).

In 2020 and 2021, the EAISI summit was held online due to Covid-19 lockdown measures. A year later, in 2022, EAISI joined forces with Brainport Development and the Province of North Brabant to launch the first official AI Summit Brainport at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven.

Driven by the ambition to grow and connect even more professionals, the summit moved to the iconic Evoluon, where it has seen its number of participants rise from 400 to over 800 registrations.

The AI Summit Brainport brings together researchers, professionals, and AI enthusiasts to share knowledge and advance skills in artificial intelligence. The event focuses on cutting-edge themes such as human-centered AI, emphasizing the development of AI systems that align with human values and societal goals. The summit features inspiring keynote speeches, panel discussions, and multiple tracks—including research, expert, adoption, and start-up sessions—offering deep dives into the latest AI innovations and applications.

Regional collaboration and co-creation are at the heart of the summit, reflecting the belief that AI is a team effort essential to the further development and responsible deployment of AI in both industry and society. With a growing network of partners and participants, the AI Summit Brainport plays a key role in strengthening the Brainport region as an international hub for AI innovation.

In short, the AI Summit Brainport is the place where science, industry, and government come together to shape the future of AI, with the shared goal of developing valuable and responsible AI systems that contribute to a sustainable and human-centered society.

We carry out activities to promote the development and application of AI among businesses in the Brabant Province. We do this by enabling, stimulating, connecting and coordinating.

EAISI brings together all AI activities of the TU/e. Top researchers from various departments and research groups work together to create new and exciting AI applications with a direct impact on the real world. All this in close collaboration with our students and representatives from industry.

The AI Hub Brainport consists of and is open to all companies, educational and knowledge institutions and public organizations in the province of Brabant that aim to develop, strengthen and connect initiatives with a focus on the development of AI and its application.
