MARTIJN VAN GRUIJTHUIJSEN
Martijn van Gruijthuijsen, vice governor of North Brabant since 2019, oversees Economic Affairs, Finance, and Talent Development. In this capacity, he is dedicated to strengthening Brabant's future growth potential by making strategic investments in a well-functioning labor market and fostering a leading knowledge-based economy. Van Gruijthuijsen emphasizes the essential role of AI in boosting labor productivity. He's been a member of the European Committee of the Regions since September 2020, where he focuses on economic matters and has most recently contributed to the committee's opinion on the European Chips Act.
